Fifteen young Moldovans awarded prizes for best business plans

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ – A total of 60 young people from Moldova and Ukraine have been trained in entrepreneurship. Fifteen participants from Moldova were awarded today in Chisinau for the best business plans at the closing conference of project: Joint Opportunities in Business for Youth.
The number of 60 young people were trained and then guided by 10 professional mentors to develop or define their business plans. The young beneficiaries, as well as other people who wish to start and develop a business, will be able to receive further support for the development of their business plans through an e – Platform, launched within the project.
The acting Managing Director of the Small and Medium – Sized Enterprise Development Organisation (ODIMM), Petru Gurgurov said at the conference that the project focused on activities that in particular involve increasing the entrepreneurial and managerial skills of young people by applying modern and innovative techniques.
Director of the Administrative Board of the Youth Organisation New European Generation in Ismail, Ukraine, Vladimir Pavel, said that project participants have gained experience and learnt to structure their business ideas to develop in their origin countries.
The Joint Opportunities in Business for Youth project is funded by the European Union under the Moldova – Ukraine Cross – Border Cooperation Programme and implemented by ODIMM in partnership with Ukraine's Youth Organisation New Generation of Europe, 13 December 2017 – 12 March 2019.
