Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/- The rules for granting allowances for renting the dwelling of civil servants with special status within the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be changed, according to a decision that will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova tomorrow.

The decision is aimed at amending the regulation on the way of payment of such benefits.

Thus, according to the amendments, the civil servants with special status of MAI can benefit from the allowance, who together with their family, do not own a dwelling or do not have office housing or own a dwelling located outside the 30 km from work. The allowance will be equal to the amount set in the lease, but will not exceed the reference value for calculating salaries of employees in the budgetary sector for the current year. This reference value will be set annually in the state budget law.

The decision will enter into force upon its publication in the Official Journal of Moldova.
