Programme on backing small business launched in south Moldova autonomy

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ - The authorities of the Gagauz-Yeri Autonomous Territorial Unit (UTA Gagauz-Yeri) starting from this month launched a regional programme on the support of small and medium enterprises, as well as startups.
The programme will be financed from the fund for backing the entrepreneurship from the Gagauz autonomy. Within the programme, local entrepreneurs will be able to benefit from grants worth up to 200,000 lei.
A basic condition for participation in this programme is the carrying out of business and recording the business on the territory of UTA Gagauz-Yeri. At the same time, the applicant must guarantee the creation of at least three jobs as a result of the project’s implementation.
Entrepreneurs due to rule to submit their files on participation can benefit from expertise and consultative assistance provided at the business incubator from Ceadar-Lunga and centres of information and support in business from Comrat, Ceadar-Lunga and Vulcanesti.
The files can be submitted to the economic development departments from the autonomy till 15 April.
