Moldovan national currency to depreciate against Euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency (MDL) depreciates over upcoming few days against the euro (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD), according to the official exchange rates displayed by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.

Thus, the EUR and USD appreciate with MDL 0.06 each. The USD costs MDL 17.16, and the EUR – MDL 19.39.

The Romanian leu (RON) adds in value MDL 0.02 and gets the level of MDL 04.07.

The BNM has set quotations similar to the current ones for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB). The RUB remains at the price of MDL 0.26, and the UAH costs MDL 0.63.
