Romania to support water supply in Glodeni, Rascani districts

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/- Several localities in the northern Moldova could be provided with quality drinking water, following projects supported by the authorities of Iasi, Romania.
To find more solutions in this regard, the head of Glodeni district, Ion Leuca, paid a visit to Iasi and held working meetings with SC APAVITAL company administration.
The sides considered the possible ways of solving the problem of water supply and sewerage of Glodeni and Rascani districts, and other areas.
They agreed to deploy a group of experts of the company to Glodeni district to assess the condition of water supply networks in the territory. In this context, by agreement between the Moldovan and Romanian governments, during April-June several seminars are planned with the local public authorities in our country, entitled - Regionalization of the service - the key element of the national policy for the development of the water supply and sewerage sector in Moldova, including in Glodeni and Rascani.
"I hope that in this way we can bring our concrete contribution within the limits of our competencies to the implementation of the national program on water supply and sewerage in Moldova," Leuca said.
