Moldova, United Kingdom to negotiate agreement on air services

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved a decision on starting negotiations on a draft agreement with the government of the United Kingdom concerning air services.
The Economics and Infrastructure Ministry said that the draft agreement had been worked out in order to develop the cooperation between Moldova and the UK in the air transport sector, as well as “to optimize the legal framework in this field, following the Great Britain’s exit from the European Union in 2019.”
Presently, passengers from Moldova have at their disposal direct flights to British airports, respectively, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted.
