Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/ – The Nisporeni city hall and the German Embassy in Moldova signed on 15 March a grant agreement for a development project in locality. It will be implemented throughout the Moldovan Social Investment Fund (FISM).
Thus, the Nisporeni city hall will benefit from a non-reimbursable financial aid provided by Germany, based on a Financing Agreement signed by the Government of Moldova for implementation of project: FISM – Social Infrastructure and Energy Efficiency (Phase II).
The programme is managed by Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), the Bank for Development of the German Government and the FISM.
Some of these funds are to be used for pedestrian pavements in the central park in Nisporeni city.
"The grant project is over MDL 4 million, out of which 70 per cent is a grant, and 30 per cent is the mayoralty contribution. From these funds, we plan to pave over 9,500 m2 of Nisporeni Park," said the mayor of Nisporeni, Grigore Robu.
