Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/ – The Regional information and business support centre (CRISA) organises a training cycle for farmers in UTA Gagauzia. This week the Gagauz agricultural producers get familiar with new methods of grape packaging and selection of greenhouses.
The first course was intended for farmers interested in growing sunflower production. The farmers in autonomy have obtained the necessary info from a northern country firm specialising in greenhouse assemblage.
The course's program included a visit to Ialoveni, where the UTA Gagauz-Yeri producers were at companies that have cold chambers, sorting and packaging lines for fruits, vegetables and grapes.
Following those visits, more regional producers manifested their desire to set similar areas for the preservation of production, according to gagauzinfo.md.
The trips of the Gagauz farmers were organised by the CRISA, and included in agenda of the School of farmers. The activity of this centre is part of a project implemented by the executive of Comrat, being EU funded within initiative: Primarii pentru crestere economica (The mayors for economic growth).
