Pupils of Tohatin village out of hospital after food poisoning

Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/- Pupils of Tohatin village, Chisinau, who recently arrived at the hospital with food poisoning, have been released. At the same time, the local school resumed its activity today.

Rodica Guţu, head of the education, youth and sports department of the Chisinau city hall, said today that the pupils will recover the lost hours, under an order issued by management of Tohatin gymnasium.

"We have the latest information from the Public Health Center presented on Friday that we have received recommendations to reopen the institution, so today gymnasium resumed its activity. Water samples are good. Samples have shown that because of the water used, child poisoning occurred. All children were released and returned to classes, " Rodica Guţu said.

Several children in Tohatin were hospitalized with food intoxication. The case took place on 5 March.
