Moldovan national currency to depreciate against euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency (MDL) depreciates against the euro (EUR) and US dollar (USD) on 19 March, according to official exchange data issued by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.

Thus, EUR increases by MDL 0.09, up to MDL 19.54, and USD adds MDL 0.02 and has an official price of MDL 17.21.

Also, the Romanian leu (RON) appreciates with MDL 0.02. The BNM has set an official exchange rate of MDL 04.11 for RON.

The Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) preserves its value of MDL 0.63. The Russian rouble (RUB) still remains at the price of MDL 0.26.
