Moldovan parliament to host sculpture exhibition

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will host an exhibition by sculptor, member of Moldova’s Fine Arts Union Serghei Ganenco, the legislative body’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The event is organized by Moldova’s parliament, in the context of the 80th anniversary of the foundation of Moldova’s National Art Museum.
Ten works by master Serghei Ganenco will be displayed for public on 19-29 March. Made in bronze, the sculptures represent works by the fine artist, carried out on the period 1989-2015.
Serghei Ganenco was born in Chisinau in 1962. He finished the Fine Arts College from the Moldovan capital. Since 1991, he has been member of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union. Ganenco has participated in numerous national, international exhibitions, symposiums and biennials. He is making monumental and indoor sculptures. The sculptor’s works are hosted by the National Art Museum of Moldova and private galleries of the country and from abroad.
