Moldovan leu to continue to depreciate against euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ – The euro (EUR) and US dollar (USD) continue to appreciate against Moldovan leu (MDL), according to the official exchange rates set by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) for Wednesday, 20 March.

Thus, both EUR and USD increase with MDL 0.01. As a result, the latter will cost MDL 17.22, and EUR – MDL 19.55.

As for the Romanian leu (RON), the BNM has set an official exchange rate of , MDL 04.11, at similar level of today.

Also, the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) maintains its price of MDL 0.63. The same trend preserves the Russian rouble (RUB) – MDL 0.26.

The official exchange rate is the price of MDL against the foreign currencies.
