New rules of noise emission for Moldova's economic agents to enter into force in six months

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/ - Economic agents will be obliged to observe the norms allowed for the emission of noise between 22:00 and 7:00 am and not between 23:00 and 7:00, as it is at present. The regulation on the matter will be published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) of Moldova and will enter into force in six months.

The document sets the maximum levels of noise and vibration allowed nearby commercial units, in blocks of flats and public buildings, residential zones and on the territory of their adjacent areas.

After the regulation is published in the Official Journal, economic agents will have at their disposal six months to comply with the new rules.

Private persons run the risk to get fines worth up to 3,000 lei for disturbing public order in the period banned and legal entities – up to 12,000 lei.
