Commercial info portal to be first ever launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ – All necessary info for an economic agent involved in foreign trade activity will be available on a single platform: Commercial information portal (PIC). It will be accessible from June 2019 and it will be the first one ever for Moldova.

According to Specifications, the portal would integrate legal, economic, statistical and organisational data on export, import and transit operations as well as other relevant info to external economic activity.

The users will be able to find on the portal info on customs procedures and destinations, goods declaration, classification and origin, contingents, permissive documents, taxes for all categories of goods. It will be described the procedures for obtaining authorisations there too.

According to the Customs Service’s communication and public relations department, the new information system will be developed with the support of the USAID Programme for Structural Reforms in Moldova.

The portal can be accessed from all electronic devices (computer, tablet or mobile phone). Also, it will also be available on website of the Customs Service (SV), which will also be upgraded with the support of USAID Programme.

It was analised at the meeting of Customs Director, Vitalie Vrabie, and USAID Programme Director for Structural Reforms in Moldova, Douglas Muir.
