Meteorologists issue Yellow Code of gusting wind in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) informed about Yellow Code of gusting wind for 27 March.

According to meteorologists, north-western wind gusting to 15-18 metres/second is expected in most regions on 27 March.

In the context, rescuers recommend avoiding places where there are dry trees or high-tension electric wires.

The weather is to cool with the gusting wind. According to SHS data, on the days to come, the air temperatures all over Moldova will drop to -5 Celsius degrees at night and will oscillate between +8 and +10 degrees during the day. Also, on 27 March, light snow is foreseen in the northern and central regions. The weather will warm starting from 30 March and the air temperatures will increase to over +15 degrees during the day and will decrease to +6 degrees at night.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous; the meteorological phenomena forecast are usual for the territory of Moldova, but temporarily can become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
