Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/ - Works of capital reconstruction and renovation, financed with European funds, are in full swing at a kindergarten from the Copceac village, Autonomous Territorial Unit Gagauz-Yeri (UTA Gagauz-Yeri) from southern Moldova.
According to the local media, at present, the walls are thermally isolated and the roof of several buildings of the institution is changed.
The restoration of the Copceac kindergarten became possible due to a project on the support of local authorities from UTA Gagauz-Yeri, financed by the European Union and implemented by the local cabinet.
At the end of the main works, a new fence, pavement, etc. will be set at the kindergarten. The project is to be made available for use in late next June.
The programme on the support of the local authorities from UTA Gagauz-Yeri (Support to Public Authorities in ATU Gagauzia SLPA) was launched in 2017, with a budget of three million euros, backed by the European Union. The project has an implementation period of 24 months and sees more activities for the autonomy’s development.
