Moldovan top court's ruling on confirmation of election results to be published in Official Journal

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/- The decision of the Constitutional Court on the confirmation of the results of the parliamentary elections of 24 February 2019 and the validation of the mandates of MPs will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 29 March.
The decision was issued on 9 March and provides for the validation of the 24 February parliamentary elections and the mandates of the elected deputies.
Following the results of the elections in the national constituency, the Party of Socialists (PSRM) won 18 parliamentary seats, ACUM bloc – 14 mandates, the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) - 13 mandates and Shor Party – 5 mandates. At the same time, in the uninominal districts, PDM won 17 mandates, PSRM - 17, ACUM bloc - 12, independent candidates - 3 and Shor Party – 2.
The parliament of the 10th legislature was legally established on 21 March, and the parliamentary factions were later formed.
