Cahul district chairman resigns

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/- Cahul district chairman Ion Groza, MP elected following the 24 February elections on the district 43, announced his resignation at a today’s meeting of the district council.

Local representatives accepted the resignation of the district head and appointed an interim head.

Until the appointment of a new head of the district, the duties will be fulfilled by deputy head Sergiu Drangoi.

Ion Groza will no longer serve as chairman of Cahul district, starting from 9 April 2019.
