Cold of last days had no impact on agricultural sector

Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/- Cool weather in recent days has not affected the agrarian sector in the country, and the weather conditions were, in fact, satisfactory for the growth and development of autumn crops, according to sources in the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment (MADRM).

According to Marin Grama, senior consultant at the MADRM department for production, processing and regulatory quality of vegetable products, to establish the condition of autumn crops during the wintering period, several scientific institutions, along with the State Hydrometeorological Service, collected samples on the territory of the country. The results have shown that the wintering process went well, the fall of autumn crops has not been found.

Once the spring farm works start, it is good for farmers to consider some recommendations.

At the same time, special attention should be paid to the additional nutrition of autumn grain crops.
