Transport department of Chisinau's city hall has new chief

Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/ - Octavian Lungu will exercise the powers of head of the public transport and communication ways general department of the Moldovan capital’s city hall. The acting general mayor of Chisinau, Ruslan Codreanu, signed an instruction to this end on 25 March 2019.

Octavian Lungu will lead the transport department till the organization of a contest for selecting a new head. So far, Lungu has acted as deputy head of the aforementioned department.

The public transport and communication ways general department remained without chief in early March this year, after Vitalie Butucel had resigned. Also at that time, Ruslan Codreanu instructed that the powers of head of the department be exercised by its deputy chief, Oleg Caraman.
