Warm, sunny weather expected in Moldova in late March

Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/ - The last days of March are expected to be warm and sunny, with short showers only in places in the northern region, according to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS).

Meteorologists said that, on 30 and 31 March, the air temperatures would increase to +19 Celsius degrees during the day and would drop to +6 degrees at night.

No essential weather changes are forecast for early April; it will just be a bit colder on the first days of this month against the week-end. In the northern regions, the air temperature will oscillate between +8 and +13 degrees during the day and will drop to 0 degrees at night. Also, short rains are possible in northern Moldova, which is not expected for the central and southern regions.

In the context, specialists of the Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ministry said that, for the time being, there was no critical situation in terms of the moisture accumulated in the soil; yet, the state of things will change, if there are no good rains on the next period.
