North Moldova district has new head

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - The head of the northern Soldanesti district, lawmaker Svetlana Rotundu, elected following the 24 February 2019 polls on the lists of the Democratic Party (PDM), resigned at a meeting of the district council on 29 March, according to local media.
„The office which I have held during almost four years strengthened me and made me more responsible, more organized and more initiated. I have managed, along with the team of colleagues and councilors, to carry out needed things for the residents of the Soldanesti district,” Rotundu said.
The mayor of the commune Cotiujenii Mari, Soldanesti district, Nicolae Dorogan, was elected as head of this district till the expiration of the mandate of district’s chief. Dorogan will start working in his new position on 10 April.
