Today - last day for purchasing health insurance policy with discount

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/- The National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) announced that today, April 1, is the last day when citizens can still benefit from discounts in the mandatory health insurance premium in the fixed amount.

According to CNAM, landowners, self-employed individuals in retail trade have discounts of 75% and 60% respectively. At the same time, the founders of individual enterprises, patent holders, lessors, lessees, other citizens who are not employed and are not insured by the government, foreign citizens with temporary residence in the Republic of Moldova pay half of the insurance premium.

Starting from 2 April, the persons who have not insured within the deadline set by law will pay fully health insurance policy with a fine, and the insured status will be activated after seven days from the payment.
