Another kindergarten in Moldova modernised with Romania's support

Chisinau, 01 April /MOLDPRES/ – Two groups of children from kindergarten Licurici in village Geamana, Anenii Noi district have been renovated with the support of the Romanian Government. These ones were inaugurated today.

The event was attended by the Romanian Ambassador to Moldova, Daniel Ionita. The diplomat said that the inauguration of the two groups in the Licurici kindergarten has a double significance. On one hand, it represents the completion of a project funded by Romania and inauguration of educational edifice during the Presidency of Romania of the Council of EU and, on the other hand, an additional proof of common history, culture, language and tradition of Moldova and Romania.

According to the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau, the value of the project, supported financially by the Romanian Government, was almost €100,000, the project also benefiting from a consistent contribution from local authorities.

As to the situation of the date, several kindergartens in Moldova benefited from financial support from the Government of Romania.
