Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) has commented on the refusal to dialogue announced by the leaders of the former ACUM bloc.
The spokesman for PDM, Vitalie Gamurari, said that the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) and the Dignity and Truth Platform Party (PPDA) “are thus making one more step towards the triggering of the snap elections and they are to take responsibility before the citizens for this irresponsible gesture, which will throw the country into a deep social crisis.”
According to Gamurari, “by this gesture, PAS and PPDA try to cover a new decision to refuse the dialogue, to further block the country.”
„We have taken note of the way those from the former ACUM bloc, now PAS and PPDA, announced their attempt to make an action of blackmail and corruption of the MPs from other factions, by inviting to separate discussions, although official discussions in the format of the leadership of the parliamentary parties have been already planned,” the spokesman for PDM noted.
Vitalie Gamurari also said that no lawmaker from the Democrats’ faction would accept “this masked attempt of political corruption and blackmail, exercised by PAS and PPDA.”
The ACUM bloc’s leaders today informed that they would not participate in any kinds of consultations with the current PDM leadership.
