List of school leaving exams centres for session 2019 approved in Moldova

Chisinau, 01 April /MOLDPRES/ – This year of studies, the high school leavers will take the baccalaureate (BAC) exams in 92 centres. Their list has been approved by the National Examining Commission (CNE) today.

The amount of 62 BAC centres, out of a total of 92, will be created in districts and 30 ones in Chisinau. All BAC centres in Chisinau will be set in theoretical high schools.

Also, the CNE decided to set up two republican centres for evaluation of BAC works. They will be equipped with video surveillance cameras in all classrooms as well as in the halls. Additionally, those two centres have conditions for keeping exam papers, correction scales, other materials indispensable to the evaluation process of the works, including technical and communication conditions of the team's activity that will store the scores accumulated by each candidate at each exam discipline and check exam tests.

At the meeting of the CNE, Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc underlined the importance of cooperation between the central public authority (APC), National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation (ANCE) and the local specialised entities (OLS) in education, so that the BAC exams 2019 to be fair.

According to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC), in exam session 2019, there have been registered 17,442 candidates, out of which 2,405 are candidates which had failed from previous BAC sessions.
