Eight water towers to be constructed on Dniester river with Germany's support

Chisinau, 2 April /MOLDPRES/ - Eight water towers will be constructed on the Dniester river, following the carrying out of a project backed by the government of Germany through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The Centru Regional Development Agency (ADR Centru), in its capacity of contracting authority, on 1 April held a meeting of opening bids within the public tender for this project.
The entrepreneur selected is to carry out works of setting tower-type water reservoirs, automation systems with related equipment in the settlements selected. It is about the villages of Cocieri, Parata, Dorotcaia, Oxentea from the eastern Dubasari district, as well as Doibani, Comisarovca Noua from the Dubasari town, Transnistrian region. This is the first inter-regional project in the water supply sector, carried out by ADR Centru.
Three bids were opened for participation in the public tender announced by ADR Centru. The working group, made up of representatives of ADR Centru and GIZ, carried out the procedure of opening of bids and assembly services are to be contracted following the tender. The money will be provided by the government of Germany, within the project titled, Joint Management of Dniester Water Resources, implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation.
