Meteorologists announce yellow frost code in Moldova

Chisinau, 2 April /MOLDPRES/- State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) announced Yellow Frost Code on 3-4 April.

According to meteorologists, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday frosts are expected -1 -3 degrees Celsius.

SHS experts say that during April, average daily air temperature may fluctuate between -1 ° - 6 ° C (1963) and +22 ° + 25 ° C (2012, 2013). The minimum air temperature for the entire observation period in April is -14.2 degrees (Soroca, April 4, 1963) and the maximum is + 32.5 (Falesti, April 29, 2012).

This week, the air temperature will rise to below 20 degrees Celsius. Traditionally in the south – warmer, and 2-3 degrees cooler in the north. No precipitation is expected in most areas of the country, except for northern districts, where rainfall is forecast on 6 April.
