Chisinau, 5 April /MOLDPRES/- Fifteen young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration have completed the first training course, organized for the first time by the National Diplomatic Institute, the MAEIE’s press service has reported.
During the ceremony of awarding certificates, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi said that training programs in the Diplomatic Institute are unique to both MAEIE and Moldova. "Initiating training programs at the Institute is a first step in a more visionary process. Any country and any diplomatic service that respects itself must be able to independently form its own diplomats," he said.
Ulianovschi voiced confidence that Moldovan diplomacy has a future, including thanks to the Diplomatic Institute, and the young generation will bring added value to the country by promoting national interests enthusiastically and creatively.
For his part, director of the Diplomatic Institute Victor Ţvircun reviewed the results obtained during this program, noting that new training courses will be launched soon for MAEIE employees and representatives of other state institutions.
