Chisinau, 07 April /MOLDPRES/ – All committees that were set to find out the truth about the events of 07 April 2009 have not given a final verdict, which shows that politics was not interested in learning this result. The statement was made by political analyst, Anatol Taranu, in an exclusive interview to the agency.
According to quoted source, the political component involved in organising the events of 07 April was very strong, and that is why it is delayed and everything is done that the truth is not known to civil society.
"It is true that those events ended the dominance of PCRM, after which political forces came to the governance and they openly promoted the EU integration of Moldova. However, the system that had formed during the PCRM remained almost intact, only the figurines changed, and Moldova's anchoring in the West continued. Now, the political forces have to break this anchor and go to Europe to avoid a new 07 April," said Taranu.
Today, 10 years have passed since the 07 April events, but the truth of them has not been elucidated. Following the protests, there were vandalised the buildings of Parliament and Presidency, being almost devastated, and half of the archive of the Legislature burned. As a result of it, the General Prosecutor's Office (PG) initiated several files, investigating ex – heads of the Interior Ministry (MAI).
