Airlines to offer new holiday destinations in summer

Chisinau, 8 April /MOLDPRES/- For summer 2019, the airlines will offer new holiday destinations directly from Chisinau. The Civil Aviation Authority made the statement today.

Every year, the aviation of the Republic of Moldova shows an upward trend in the number of air flights, passengers and destinations, which are 41 in number for 2019.

Regular flights to Nice (France) from 26 April to 25 October, three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Another flight will be operated to Izmir (Turkey) from 18 May to 5 October every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

At the same time, flights to Friedrichshafen (Germany) from 17 September to 28 September, Copenhagen (Denmark) from 2 April to 11 June; Dortmund (Germany) from 31 March to 23 October; Memmingen (Germany) from 2 April to 14 September and 1- 26 October. Another destination is Dalaman (Turkey), accessible weekly from 25 May to 15 October.

Also, during this period, it will increase the weekly frequency of flights to and from several cities, such as: Moscow, Paris, Rome, London, Vienna and Antalya.

On the last Sunday of March of each year, the aviation industry switches to the summer schedule, valid until the last Sunday of October. The change allows reducing losses, improving the use of aircraft and racing feasibility, which means even increasing frequencies on certain destinations, given the increased number of passengers in the summer.
