Most Moldovans likely to opt for PSRM - PDM coalition

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/- One month after the validation of the 24 February elections, when political forces failed to create a ruling coalition, the data of a survey conducted by IMAS show that about 31 percent of Moldovans believe that a coalition of PSRM and PDM would be the most effective.

The survey data show that 24 per cent of respondents would like early elections, and 20 per cent believe that Socialists should form an alliance with ACUM bloc.

Under the same survey, PSRM-PDM coalition will manage best to improve road infrastructure (39 per cent are of this opinion, compared to 22 per cent for alliance PSRM-ACUM. As many say that this alliance will help retirees - - 39%, improve public order and citizen safety - 38% and raise people's living standards - 36%.

The socio-political barometer was conducted on 17 March – 5 April 2019, on a sample of 1,110 respondents. The margin of error is 3%.
