Most Moldovans opt for European vector of Moldova – survey says

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/- If next Sunday should choose between Moldova’s accession to EU or Eurasian Economic Union, about 52 percent of respondents to a survey by IMAS would vote for EU.

According to the survey, if a referendum is held next Sunday, 58% of respondents would vote for Moldova's EU accession, 47% for joining the Eurasian Economic Union. Another 29 per cent of survey participants say they would like the unification of Moldova with Romania, and 18 per cent opt for joining NATO.

The same sociological research shows that 75 percent of Moldovans believe that after the 24 February elections, things in our country are going in the wrong direction.

The socio-political barometer was conducted by IMAS on 17 March - 5 April 2019 on a sample of 1,110 respondents at the PDM order. The margin of error is 3%.
