Delivery of heat to blocks in Moldovan capital stopped

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/- Today, residents of the capital will no longer have heat in the apartments.

Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu ordered the closure of heating season 2018-2019 for consumers.

The decision was made after the air temperature had exceeded + 10 ° C in the last three days.

The education, social and medical institutions will be disconnected from heating according to the request of the budget unit managers.

According to the city hall, some categories of household consumers may request (in writing) the extension of the heating period, and the supplier will deliver the thermal energy provided the technical possibilities are available.

The heating season began in the capital in mid-October 2018.
