MPs of Moldovan Party of Socialists, ACUM political bloc have meeting at parliament

Chisinau, 11 April /MOLDPRES/ - The lawmakers of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) and ACUM political bloc today assembled at a meeting at the parliament, in order to discuss the post-electoral situation. The discussions lasted for more than one hour and yielded no results, as both sides insisted on their own conditions.
The dialogue took place at PSRM’s initiative and the leaders of the ACUM bloc did not came to the meeting, with only two deputy leaders delegated. Following an hour of discussions, the PSRM MPs informed that they would not back a minority cabinet and the representatives of the ACUM bloc said that they were not willing to create a majority coalition and refused to consider the Socialists’ candidacy for the office of parliament speaker.
At the end of the meeting, the ACUM members said they would examine the PSRM’s requests and the Socialists noted that they would announce a final decision after a meeting of the party’s council due on 12 April.
