Over two thousand jobs presented at jobs fair in Chisinau

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- Jobseekers can choose one of about two thousand vacancies presented by over 50 companies at the Jobs Fair, opened today at the Nicolae Sulac National Palace in the capital.

At this edition, organizers expect more than 4,000 people interested in the labor market. They will have the opportunity to discuss face to face with the employer and to choose the most advantageous job offers.

One of the organizers of the fair, Alina Agafiţei, told the agency that there are vacancies in several areas, including financial, banking, accounting, audit, IT, transport, tourism, automotive, food, advertising and media. In addition to the job vacancies, employers also offer paid internships.

At the same time, interested people can participate free of charge in a career guidance workshop.

The local public administration in Chisinau, which proposes 1,200 vacancies in various fields, also participates in the event. The municipality is looking for teachers, educators and employees in the Chisinau City Hall and its subdivisions.

Also, attending the event will be Regia Transport Electric Chisinau, which employs 200 trolleybus drivers and conductors. The Urban Bus Park proposes 107 jobs for drivers, conductors and motor mechanics. At the same time, the Green Area Management Association provides over 150 jobs for unskilled workers and drivers.

The event will be open today and tomorrow. The previous edition of the event, organized in autumn last year, was attended by more than 2,500 young people and, according to organizers, 80% of the visitors who applied for vacancies were able to find employment.
