Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/ – The Socialists' party of Moldova (PSRM) has reiterated its refusal to support a minority Government. The position was presented after the meeting of the Council of the party, which took place in Chisinau today.
After the meeting, the head of state, Igor Dodon, said that the PSRM "is ready to create a parliamentary majority with ACUM block with a functioning government." If the talks fail, the PSRM says it is ready to go to the early parliamentary elections, said Dodon.
The Socialists also formulated a number of conditions that would be the basis for discussions with ACUM block. These ones include the adoption of several laws and consolidation of state institutions. Also, the PSRM would like to have the speaker and delegate representatives to the heads of the foreign, internal, defence ministries and position of the deputy PM for Reintegration.
The representatives of the PSRM and ACUM block met on 11 April in a parliamentary session to discuss the post – election situation, but they did not reach a compromise.
