Moldovan leu to depreciate against euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/ – In early of upcoming week, the Moldovan leu (MDL) depreciates even more against the main currencies, according to the official exchange rates presented by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, the single European currency (EUR) increases by MDL 0.11 approaching the level of MDL 20.00. Its official price is MDL 19.96.

More expensive becomes the U.S. dollar (USD) – MDL 17.64, after going up by MDL 0.04.

As for the Romanian leu (RON), the BNM has set an official exchange rate of MDL 04.19, with MDL 0.02 up than today. The Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) increases by MDL 0.01 – MDL 0.66.

The value of the Russian rouble (RUB) remains unchanged – MDL 0.27.
