Artists from nine states participate in international festival Jazz'n Chisinau

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/ – The bands and artists from Moldova, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Poland, Romania, Russia, USA and Ukraine participate in the 7th issue of the Jazz'n Chisinau International Festival, which will take place on 16 – 18 April at the National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici.
According to tradition, Jazz'n Chisinau International Festival expands its concerts outside the capital and reach Soroca, Taraclia and Tiraspol this year to familiarise Moldovan spectators with traditions, culture and diversity of international and domestic jazz.
According to the festival's director, Valeriu Culea, event organiser, its aim is to cultivate a new trend in jazz in Moldova and to diversify local jazz. Also, one of the main objectives of this festival is to support instrumentalists and vocalists from us who are later involved in collaborations with artists from abroad.
On 16 April, on the first day of the festival, Dominik Wania Trio, Poland performs on the stage of the National Philharmonic (Dominik Wania (piano), Maksymilian Mucha (bass) and Dawid Fortuna – drums) and Paul Heller Quartet instrumentalists Paul Heller (saxophone), Martin Sasse (piano), Caris Hermes (bass) and Niklas Walter (drums).
On 17 April, Tandem Project in Italy and Daria Chernakova Trio (Russia/Brazil) are performed on stage. The band consists of Frabrizio Bosso (trumpet), Julian Oliver (piano) and Julian Oliver Mozzarello (piano), and Daria Chernakova (double bass), Alexei Ivannikov (piano) and Amoy Ribas (drums, Brazil).
On 18 April, several artists from both Moldova and abroad perform: Julinoza Project (Ukraine), Juli Zaporozhets, Igor Chebotarev, Jazz'n Chisinau, Adventure Project, Valeriu Culea (Moldova), Jonathan Pinson (drums), singer Violeta Grecu (Italy/Moldova), Ion Varlan (bass, Poland/Romania), Irina Slobodeaniuc, Mihai Vier and Fresh Sly.

The first issue of the International Festival Jazz'n Chisinau took place in 2013.
