Identity documents to be issued under new terms

Chisinau, 15 April /MOLDPRES/- The Public Service Agency (ASP) has informed that today suspends service of issuing identity cards within three hours and six hours, and the passport - within three hours, six hours and ten calendar days.

Instead, the provision of identity card and passport issuance services is being implemented on applicant's addressing.

"Issuance of the documents on addressing will be done by the Center Service for issuing identity documents (SEAI Centru). Applications will be received from Monday to Friday between 8.00-13.00 hours, and handing over of the documents will be held between 16:00-17:00. At the same time, the SEAI Center will provide identity card services within 24 hours and five calendar days.”

According to the Public Service Agency, these measures have been taken in order to optimize the processes of provision of identity and personal identification services.
