Moldovan Democrats to donate wages of March

Chisinau, 18 April /MOLDPRES/- MPs of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) will donate salaries of March. The head of the faction, Pavel Filip, made the statement today.

He wrote on a social network that as the parliament was practically unworkable in March, PDM lawmakers believe that wages are not entitled to any member, regardless of parliamentary party he is.

"Each of the PDM deputies will choose a social cause to which they will redirect their income. We hope to unlock the political situation as soon as possible so that we can work for the benefit of those who have sent us to parliament, de facto payers of these salaries. We repeatedly address the message to the parliamentary parties to show maturity and to return to the agenda of social priorities of the citizens ", Filip said.

This week, MPs who made it to parliament have received their first wages. Some of them said that they are small and not sufficient for current expenses.
