The municipal authorities have already carried out several controls, and special work will be done in the group.
Scarlet fever is a disease of childhood, but unlike chickenpox, rubella, measles and mumps, it is not caused by a virus, but by the beta group A beta – haemolytic bacteria. Children of the age of 03 – 10 are predisposed to it. There is no vaccine for scarlet fever. Like other contagious diseases of childhood, scarlet fever can be sick only once, as the antitoxic immunity is formed for life.
