Moldovan leu to appreciate against euro

Chisinau, 18 April /MOLDPRES/ – After several days when the European currency (EUR) got dearer against the Moldovan leu (MDL), the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) has displayed a lower exchange rate for €1.
Thus, EUR costs MDL 20.15 on 19 April after it cheapens by MDL 0.07.
The U.S. dollar (USD), however, tends to appreciate against MDL. It appreciates by MDL 0.03 and has an official price of MDL 17.90.
The Romanian leu (RON) and Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) go down by MDL 0.01. As a result, UAH costs MDL 0.66, and RON – MDL 04.23.
As for the Russian rouble (RUB), the BNM has set a currency exchange rate similar to the one of today – MDL 0.28.
