Moldovan PM, Romanian envoy discuss joint projects

Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip had a meeting with Romania's ambassador to Moldova Daniel Ioniţă yesterday, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The officials discussed the ongoing projects, and those due to be implemented. Bilateral projects of major interest were - construction of Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline, interconnection of electricity networks, infrastructure development and elimination of roaming tariffs between the two states.
In the context, the Premier said that the implementation of the projects agreed by the Chişinău and Bucharest Governments and included in the Road Map will further enhance the bilateral dialogue.
At the same time, Pavel Filip said that Moldova continues to rely on Romania's support, including during the presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Ioniţă said that Romania will continue to support the European path of the Republic of Moldova, which is a strategic partner and a reliable friend.
