Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/- 51 Moldovan citizens who were illegally in Germany were returned home with a charter. All Moldovans were banned from entering the EU.
According to the Migration and Asylum Bureau, the readmission procedure was conducted under the aegis of the European Border Police and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX). The Moldovans were taken back by the escort of the German authorities, being banned from entering the EU space for different periods.
The Migration and Asylum Bureau alerts citizens planning to travel to the European Union to comply with migration legislation as they risk becoming readmission subjects, which may negatively impact the visa liberalization regime in the EU.
