Golden Catalogue of Moldovan Wines – 2018 launched in Chisinau municipality

Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/ – The Golden Catalogue of Moldovan Wines – 2018 was launched within a new issue of the Wine Opening Ceremony held on 18 April evening in Chisinau municipality. The event attended 50 producers from four regions with Protected Geographical Indication. These ones displayed to audience over 300 white, rosé and red wines of the last fruit and mature one.

The catalogue has included domestic wines awarded in 2018 at national and international contests, was set up a special area dedicated to them for the first time. In 2018, the Moldovan winemakers achieved an impressive number of 190 gold medals at the 28 international competitions, along with 300 silver and bronze medals as well as awards.

The 16th issue of the Wine Opening Ceremony was organised by the National Vine and Wine Office (ONVV), in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment (MADRM), Association of Wine Producers etc. with the support of strategic partner – Moldova Competitiveness Project, financed by USAID and Government of Sweden.
