Meteorologists extend yellow code of frost in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 April /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) today extended the yellow code of frost. It will be valid all over Moldova also on the night of 24 April.

Thus, frost of -1 - -3 Celsius degrees is forecast in places on the night of 24 April.

According to meteorologists, on the next days, the air temperature will increase gradually, so that +25 degrees is expected in southern regions, with variable cloud. At the same time, rains are forecasts in the in northern Moldova next week-end.

In case of yellow code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous; the meteorological phenomena forecast are usual for Moldova’s territory; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
