Hungarian Film Day held in Chisinau

Chisinau, 26 April /MOLDPRES/- The Embassy of Hungary in Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research organized Hungarian Film Day, 5th issue, yesterday evening at Odeon cinema in the capital.

Attending the event were Hungarian Ambassador to Chişinau Sándor Szabó, culture and art people.

Culture Advisor of the Hungarian Embassy in Moldova Fulor-Gábor András said that the National Film Fund together with the Hungarian Foreign Ministry had launched a lot of contemporary and historical film screenings in various countries where there are Hungarian communities.

“Since 2014, we celebrate Hungarian Film Week and all Hungarian cultural centers in the world and all embassies have as a noble duty to help acquaint film art in Hungary. Given this tradition, we organized this event in the capital of Moldova,” Fulor-Gábor András said.

The first edition of the event in Chisinau was held in 2014.
