Moldova to open commercial-economic offices in ten countries

Chisinau, 26 April /MOLDPRES/- Moldova plans to open commercial-economic offices in ten countries. The procedures for preparing the package of documents were analyzed at a meeting of economic diplomacy working group made up of representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the Investment Agency.
The offices would be established in the USA (New York), United Kingdom (London), Japan (Tokyo), Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg), China (Shanghai), France(Paris), Switzerland (Geneva), Sweden (Stockholm) and Singapore.
Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Chiril Gaburici said that it is necessary for each economic attaché to know the priority areas for attracting investments and promoting exports. "In this regard, we will organize a training course in the economic diplomacy in July, so that each attachment will be well prepared when presenting Moldova as an investment destination and source of goods and services," Gaburici said.
