Republic of Moldova Presents exhibition to be staged in two cities of Romania

Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Iasi and Baia Mare cities of Romania will host the exhibition, Republic of Moldova Presents, in next autumn. The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (CCI), Sergiu Harea, who invited economic agents from Moldova to participate in the event, made statements to this effect today.

Thus, the exhibition, Republic of Moldova Presents, will be held in Iasi on 20-22 September 2019 and in Baia Mare on 27-29 September, this year. The events will bring together about 150 entrepreneurs from Moldova.

Sergiu Harea said that Romania had become the biggest trade partner of Moldova, with the foreign commerce between the two countries amounting to two billion dollars.

The exhibition, Republic of Moldova Presents, was also hosted by the cities of Ploesti, Brasov and Iasi of Romania. About 500 companies have participated in those five exhibitions earlier staged in these settlements. Over 100 cooperation contracts on export in dry fruits, fruits in chocolate, wines, etc. were signed. At the same time, six companies opened shops in Romania.
